First Weekend Back at Mohave Trading Post

So last weekend was the first one back at the Mohave Trading Post. 3 Busy Sisters, the is Karen, Kristi and me are going have a booth there for the next 2 months. I thought this first weekend went okay. I wasn't completely skunked after all. See the lemon kitchen towel in the picture on the right? I sold that. I know it is not much, but it is a start. The ice has been broken.

If you happen to be in the Bullhead City/Laughlin area come on by. We have a booth filled with Karen's woodwork, Kristi's tremendous sewing skills and my knits and crochets.

This week I have been working a new pattern, Icing Scarf, from Ravelry.com and some interesting yarn I found at Joann's. I'll show that knitting of when I get it done and blocked.

BTW any of my readers sad at finding out that Joann's will be going out of business?

Over on Blue Sky this week I posted some affiliate linked aquamarine jewelry for gift ideas for March birthdays. I was on such a daily hamster wheel posting all the time on X before I left and I don't want to repeat that in the new place. I am thinking I will check in there with my own new posts and reposts of my followers on Wednesdays for now. That frees up about 8 hours a week for more knitting (certainly not for housework LOL). What's on Sale in February in My Etsy Shop

I began a series of monthly sales in my Etsy shop a while back. During each sale of the month one section or category of goods will be on sale for 25% off. During the month of February 2022 and I am putting the year here in case you come across this post in later years, so you won't get your hopes up for a good deal and be disappointed.

So, what do I have a good deal on right now? It is a month of market bag discounts! I have had this pattern for a very long time and enjoy making them and thinking about their usefulness and single use plastic bag need decreasing abilities (I think that is the super power of these bags!) while I am stitching. That makes me smile and want to keep crocheting them over and over again.

This pattern has a LOT of stretch in it so they can carry so much you will be amazed. The sturdy handles can definitely hold up to the weight. If something leaks or the bag gets dirty at the beach these are 100% cotton and can be washed and dried when necessary. I have grand plans to add bags in more colors but for this month I have four different colors on sale.
