After a day of sloth because of vaccination side effects and football I went for a walk this morning with Jim. I am over my headache and low grade fever so it was time to get out there again. My plan is to get this man moving and to keep myself in good shape too, of course. Win - win, right?
We got kind of a late start so after 3.5 miles it was getting warm, and it was time for me to head home. He likes to wander and that is what we did. I admit to feeling lost a couple times but eventually we came out on a main road, and I knew my way home from there, so I felt oriented again. He felt like a winner because he went a bit further after I turned for home. It's all good and I did manage to get a pinecone for my basket. This is a rather pretty one, don't you think so?
Yesterday we watched the historic Dolphins Broncos game first and then in the afternoon we saw the Cardinals beat the Cowboys. Of course, we ended with Sunday Night Football and the Steelers win. We are kind of limited with Sling. We can see the ESPN games using Sling and on Thursday we watch the game on Amazon Prime Video. For the games on the national networks like NBC, ABC or CBS we watch with an antenna and only get the games they broadcast in our area. I don't mind. Did you watch any football this weekend?
