In other crafty news, one of my sisters would like to try selling at a nearby swap meet. This one is pretty big but the prices for a booth are very reasonable. She would like a partner and goodness knows I have lots of stuff to get sold and out of my life. We could maybe do a month in the fall and a month in the spring. This could work for me since I have put the idea of an Etsy shop or any online shop on hold for now. I made this decision because Jim wants to travel so much and putting a shop in vacation mode all the time just doesn't work.
So, what I want to know today is how do you balance your crafty life with other parts of your life to get along with your loved ones who may never understand the importance of being a creative is to you? I would love to hear from anyone who has thoughts about this. I can't be the only one or am I?
