See That?

I keep a weather chart on my desktop courtesy of Google. On that chart I track the weather for where I live and the towns that my three married children live in. They are in Utah and I am in Arizona. It is a whole other story about how I spent all my time preparing myself for my kids to move away from me and I ended up moving away from them.Do you see that on Friday all of their towns have snow predicted and where I am will be 90? That is one of the reasons we are down here.

Better?

In my previous post you see that it is my daughter's birthday. She also left a comment there about my choice of picture.

In continuing to tease the birthday girl I want to know if she thinks these pictures are any better? Probably not huh?












That just goes to show that just like me she doesn't like to get her picture taken so it is hard to find a nice pretty one in my collections.


So dear Cindy if you don't like the pictures it is your fault.

My Youngest

Today my youngest child, now a busy mom with 2 kids of her own, turns 26. Her wedding anniversary is also this month. Being married to a hunter makes her very aware that this is deer season in Utah as well.

I wanted to share this with you so that she could complain to me about having her picture and age made public on my blog.

Happy First!

This little guy is Kaleb James. He is turning one year old today. Although I won't be in Utah with him to celebrate, through the magic of web cams I will be able to see the celebration. Spending time with him is a lot of fun. He is always a good natured little fellow.

Once again Flights Of Whimsy has put together a treasury of talented EtsyBloggers Team members. I want to show this to you to thank her and to share even more of the amazing things that can be found on Etsy. This time the focus as you can see is needlework. It is so nice to be included in such a fun and talented group of people. My pink scarf is in the bottom right corner.

I haven't put together any treasuries myself in awhile. They are a lot of fun to build and I had forgotten that. Maybe I will hang out there and see if I can snag one soon! If I manage that I will be sure and share it with you here.

Summer to Fall

My Summer Colors Headband is in yet another treasury. This collection is viewable until tomorrow. I imagined it to be bright and summery but with the orange crochet edging it fits into fall - Halloween collections. That is a result I did not foresee but I am certainly grateful for.
