Anticipating Dinner
Early this morning I put one of my favorite dinners in the crock pot. We will be eating roast beef and potatoes tonight. Carrots are in the mix too and I will be making gravy. You know this is the kind of dinner tastes so good.
Tonight is not really even my favorite part of making this meal. What I really, really look forward to is roast beef sandwiches in the days after. Do you fix any meals just to have the leftovers?

ReplyDeleteThis is my ultimate comfort food. I try to make a pot roast every Sunday evening throughout the winter months. The whole house smells fabulous. Too hot in the summer to have the oven on, isn't it?!

It is extremely hot here in AZ but using the crock pot makes it okay.
