With your hands, young and old
I loved watching the children knit. What do you think about the ideas in this video?
Interesting. I enjoyed watching the children knit, also. I think the concept of using the hands to do something, make something out of nothing as it were, could have an impact on the cognitive area of the brain and might also impact the introspective area. To learn by doing,to learn we can do things useful with our hands instills confidence.Then again, this all may be over my head.
Inspiring video! Nature is amazing and it is so important to teach the children these sort of things. There is a textile museum in my area and I remember being so fascinated as a child watching wool being spun into yarn!
